WIRELESS AT PUYSEGUR
The telephone line to Puysegur Point Lighthouse traverses a distance of about 50 miles, and owing to the nature of the country through which it passes the line was continually a source of trouble, owing to its being damaged by falling trees, etc. For a considerable time it has been out of order. Recently the Marine Department arranged to have a wireless plant installed at the point, and a radio message was received from there last evening to the effect that the apparatus was now in working order.
