Mr Orchiston, chief engineer of the New Zealand Telegraphs, accompanied by an officer of the Public Works Department and Mr Moens, representative of the Australian Wireless Telegraph Company, are in the Kaitaia district looking for a site for the high-power wireless telegraph station.
They are impressed with the suitableness of the Kaitaia and Awanui districts for the purpose,and have a number of different sites under consideration.
