Radio technician training at Post Office radio stations

The two photos below show training for radio technicians occurring at Makara Radio in the late 1940s. It is not known whether the people in the photos were trainees visiting the station from the school at the Wellington East Post Office, or staff at Makara (or other stations) doing some “upgrading”.
