…Prior to the departure of the Himitangi, a very pretty wedding was celebrated, the contracting parties being Mr Davis of the Chatham Island wireless station, and Miss Forbes, of Christchurch. The bride and bridesmaids were very tastefully adorned for the occasion, while the men with their Chatham gear on, and old fashioned ties, were somewhat unique. After a brief honeymoon trip to Tiki Tiki, the happy couple return and settle down at the wireless station…
