MELBOURNE, Dec. 22.

The Wireless Conference has concluded. It adopted a report which will be submitted to the various Governments concerned and to the Admiralty. The decisions in the meantime will not be made public.

It is understood the report recommends that the system of wireless telegraphy should be worked in conjunction with the Pacific cable installations, and that the work should be carried out by the Governments interested, on a proportional basis; also that a staff — probably subject to the Pacific cable board’s approval — be created to undertake operating the system.

The stations suggested to be established are Fiji, Solomon Islands, Ocean Island, New Hebrides, Raratonga, Tonga, and other points.
